You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using MindQot, you confirm that you are 18 or older. You may use MindQot only if you can form a binding contract with us and are permitted to do so under the laws that apply to you. If you use the Service on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.
3. Accounts and account security
To use core features you create an account using an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Please tell us at mindqot.support@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:

- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service or its infrastructure;

- copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from MindQot content except as expressly allowed.
5. What MindQot is
MindQot is an educational and self-development product. It delivers short daily "briefings" and structured learning paths on topics such as communication and social intelligence, to support personal growth and learning.
6. Not professional advice
MindQot content is for general educational and self-development purposes only. It is not, and must not be relied on as, medical, psychological, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. MindQot does not diagnose, treat, or provide therapy for any condition. If you need professional advice, consult a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact your local emergency services.
7. No guarantee of outcomes
MindQot provides information and suggestions. We do not guarantee any particular result, improvement, or outcome from using the Service or from applying any suggestion it contains. Results depend on many factors outside our control.
8. Your responsibility when applying suggestions
You are solely responsible for how you use, interpret, and apply any content or recommendation from MindQot, and for any decisions you make based on it. Use your own judgment and, where appropriate, seek professional guidance.
9. Intellectual property
The Service and its contents — including the MindQot application, its wisdom cards, learning paths, text, design, branding, logos, and other materials (the "MindQot Content") — are owned by Anirudh Verma or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service and access MindQot Content for your own, non-commercial personal use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not use the MindQot name, logos, or branding without our prior written permission.
10. Service availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features of the Service at any time, and the Service may be unavailable from time to time (for example, for maintenance or due to factors outside our control). We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, or where we reasonably need to for legal, security, or operational reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Deleting your account
You can delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the App, or by following the instructions at https://mindqot.com/delete-account. Deletion is described in our Privacy Policy and is permanent.
13. Paid subscriptions (future)
MindQot may offer optional paid subscriptions in the future to unlock additional features or content. Paid subscriptions are not currently offered in the Service. If and when they become available:
- purchases will be processed through the applicable app store (for example, Google Play), and that store's purchase, billing, cancellation, and refund terms will apply in addition to these Terms; and
- we will publish the specific subscription details (such as features, pricing, and billing terms) at the point of purchase and update these Terms accordingly.
These Terms do not create any current subscription, price, billing arrangement, free trial, or refund entitlement.
14. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party platforms (including Google Firebase, and app-store services such as Google Play). Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and except for liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, Anirudh Verma will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
16A. Your mandatory local rights (savings clause)
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right, guarantee, or remedy you have under applicable consumer-protection or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified. This includes, where they apply to you, mandatory consumer rights under European Union and United Kingdom consumer law, the Australian Consumer Law's consumer guarantees, and similar non-waivable protections in your country. Where any provision of these Terms (including the disclaimers in section 15 and the limitations in section 16) conflicts with such a mandatory right, that provision applies only to the extent permitted by the law that protects you, and the rest of these Terms continues to apply.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights or rights regarding jurisdiction or venue that you may have under the laws applicable where you live.
